Psychic-Aide's Code Of Ethics
This has been my lifetime Code of Ethics - not just for doing psychic readings.
1. I will act in a moral, legal, and ethical manner, in order to better the image of the psychic industry and of
the psychic phenomena.
2. I do not encourage client dependency, and never pressure a client for return visits.
3. I never abuse a client's trust and vulnerability in order to benefit financially, sexually or otherwise; nor
will I provide nor participate in negative programming or recommendations.
4. I never use trickery, magic, spells, sleight of hand, or other methods to encourage or promote belief of psychic
abilities, powers, or divine right.
5. I never claim that my system or methods or process is the only insight to psychic phenomena; nor can I guarantee
the client the automatic ability to initiate or discontinue events, including spells, hexes, or other consequences.
I can however, help the client to change relationship events for themself.
6. I hold all written and verbal communications with a client in strict confidence, except in the event of a life-threatening
situation or if client directly gives me permission to share with a relative or friend, etc.
7. A written record of the client's reading is given whenever possible (from instant message or emailed readings).
The client is always welcome to make his/her own record (audiotape or written or otherwise) of the reading if he/she
would like.
8. I reserve the right to refuse reading for any client, but in that case I always return any monies for that reading.
9. I never refer clients to another professional reader in return for acquiring kickbacks or other compensation.
10. I advise clients of the total cost of a reading before the reading starts. There are no hidden or "surprise"
charges for my services.
11. I advise the client of the duration of the reading prior to beginning it.
12. I never use illegal titles or fake names.
13. In the course of living my life and doing my psychic practice, I do my utmost to uphold and encourage and promote
ethical, moral, and professional standards of behavior for myself.
14. I will never use copyrighted artwork on my website unless I purchased the right to use the artwork or the artist
has given me permission to use the artwork freely.
15. I will never sell, trade, or give away mailing list names of people who have contacted me in any manner.
16. I never force my personal moral, ethical, or religious preferences on a client. We each have our own path.
